- Salt and pepper the steaks then pan fry with browned butter on high 1 1/2 minutes per side. Set aside in covered container.
- In same pan, saute the onions in butter on med-high heat until caramelized. Add sliced mushrooms and lightly sear until browned on sides. Add small amounts of water throughout to prevent burning.
- After seering the mushrooms, add the wine and reduce in half. Add stock and again reduce until thickened.
