Oooey Gooey Cherry Bars

Ingredients:

1 Roll of Sugar Cookie Dough

Almond Extract, to taste

Cherry Preserves

Place aluminum foil or parchment paper on a cookie sheet with a lip. Add a splash of the almond extract to sugar cookie dough, to taste. Press sugar cookie dough on the pan, reserving 1/4 of the dough. After dough is on the cookie sheet, spoon on cherry preserves (not too thick as the bars will not come out of the pan.) Crumble up the remaining dough and place on top of the preserves. Cook according to sugar cookie instructions.
