FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE

1 ½ Stick Butter                    1 ½ cup Brown Sugar

1 ½ tsp Cinnamon                 1 Loaf White Bread (1 lb)

6 Eggs                                   2 cups Milk

Maple Syrup

 

Use a 9 x 13 inch dish. Melt 1 ½ stick of butter & add 1 ½ cups brown sugar, 1 ½ tsp cinnamon; make a paste & spread over the bottom of the dish.

Remove crust from bread. Layer 2 slices of bread & fill in sides & ends with smaller pieces. Beat 6 eggs and add 2 cups of milk. Pour over top. Cover & refrigerate. Bake for 25-30 minutes @ 350 degrees. Drizzle maple syrup on top & run under broiler until brown & bubbly.
