- Drain Cherries and set on paper towels to Dry.
- In a medium bowl, combine butter and corn syrup until smooth. Stir in confectioners’ sugar and knead to form a dough. Grandma said that if its soft you can chill to stiffen if ya need to. Then wrap each cherry in about 1 Teaspoon of dough. then chill till firm. MAKE SURE HANDS ARE DRY!! otherwise the foundent will stick to ya.
- Melt Chocolate over low heat, then dip each cherry then place on wax paper then chill. they will stay good for about 2 weeks in a air tight container.
- Hazel used Maraschino Cherries and the chocolate almond bark but you can use any that you would like just if you get diffrent cherries of course remove the stim.
