Nutmeg

Cooking Time:

- Heat oven to 425 degrees
- Peel and thinly slice apples
- Mix together sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl
- Stir in apples to mixture and coat evenly
- Place first crust in pie pan
- Place apples onto crust
- Place other pie crust over apples (or get creative and cut into strips and weave over top of pie)
- Cover with foil and bake 40-50 minutes
- Remove foil during last 15 minutes of baking
