Easy Quick Sweet Moist Cornbread

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl. 
  2. In a separate bowl, thoroughly blend all the wet ingredients. 
  3. Then add the wet and dry ingredients together, mixing just until blended.  
  4. Pour into a greased, floured pan or cast iron skillet.
  5. Bake at 390 degrees for approximately 25 minutes.
  6. Cornbread is done when the sides are nicely browned, and toothpick pressed into center comes out clean.
  7. Cover with foil as soon as it comes out of the oven to retain moisture.
